CPX President, Rob Rasko, Delivers Bilingual Video Address to OM Expo Madrid

CPX’s COO & President, Rob Rasko, recorded this message for the OM Expo, which took place in Madrid at the end of February. He begins in Spanish and later switches to English, as he talks about ad networks, platforms, CPX Interactive and the future of online media buying.

CPX at iMedia Brand Summit in Las Vegas

Next week, from February 7-10, iMedia Brand Summit will be taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The theme is “Branding 2010: New Rules or No Rules?” and sessions will focus on topics that include social media, mobile advertising, brand safety online, and strategic targeting. CPX Interactive is sponsoring Tuesday’s lunch from 12:00-1:15 pm. Our EVP of Sales, Gary Bembridge, and our VP of Sales-East Coast, Stephen Shearin, will be attending the Summit, so be sure to say hello.

CPX Interactive Joins the Digital Communication Forum

CPX Interactive will be taking an active part in the “Forum della Comunicazione Digitale”, and Massimo Fontana, Country Manager-Italy, will introduce our own business model and strategies for 2010. The third edition of the Digital Communication Forum will take place on the 10th of February of 2010 at Palazzo Mezzanotte (Milan, Piazza Affari). It’s an event organized by Comunicazione Italiana, which aims at allowing technicians, communicators, CEOs, top managers, economists and innovators to exchange their opinions, initiatives and development strategies in order to let the country succeed in the digital era we are living in.

CPX Finds Value in iMedia Connection Summits

CPX Interactive has been attending iMedia Connection Brand and Agency Summits for a number of years. Stephen Shearin, VP of Sales, Agency Division at CPX, reflects on the value derived from these events:

“CPX attends iMedia summits at least four times a year. The value in attending is layered on many levels, and goes WAY beyond the great locations, meals, and drink receptions…although they’re pretty great. On an individual level, most of the major players send their leaders, so the personal networking environment is much richer than it might be at a local event. To that end, the general conversation at iMedia summits can be as informative and instructive as the speakers and breakout sessions themselves. From a more holistic perspective, being represented there, personally and in the form of a sponsorship, is one of the most direct ways to come to the forefront of the market leaders represented at any iMedia.”

Next week, Shearin and other members of the CPX team will travel to Scottsdale, Arizona for the iMedia Agency Summit. The event takes place December 6-9, and will be guest hosted by Jim Spanfeller,  former President and CEO of Forbes.com. CPX will be sponsoring lunch on Tuesday the 8th.

CPX Spain To Sponsor POPular Treat at IAB Event This Week

This Wednesday and Thursday, November 25-26, IAB Spain will hold the third annual Inspirational Film Festival in Madrid. The festival, which will take place at Círculo de Bellas Artes, presents the latest trends in digital marketing and advertising through presentations, panel discussions, and workshops. CPX Interactive Spain will sponsor the popcorn machine at this event, so we know there will be tasty snacks on hand. We hope everyone enjoys the festival!

CPX Interactive Exhibited at IAB Italy Forum

In International news, CPX Interactive had the pleasure of exhibiting in Milan, Italy at the IAB Italy Forum, November 3-4. IAB Italy is known as the most important online advertising event in Italy.

With more than 4,000 attendees and 60 sponsors, the Milano Convention Center was packed with media-owners, advertising agencies, media agencies, researchers and publishers.

This was the second year CPX Interactive attended this event.

“There is a lot more energy here than last year,” said Rob Rasko, President and COO of CPX Interactive.

The CPX Interactive Italy Team includes: Country Manager, Massimo Fontana, Publishing Manager, Cecilia Sandrucci, Sales Director, Marco Viscardi, Sales Manager, Raffaella Doronozo, Sales Account Manager, Mariano De Luca and Marketing Intern, Francesca Alberti.

CPX Interactive Wraps Up ad:tech New York 2009

ad:tech New York 2009 was a great success this year. With more than 250 exhibitors, the Javits Convention Center was packed with the largest gathering of online marketers.

ad:tech is an opportunity for brands, agencies, publishers and service providers to come together to share, network, learn and do business.

So much hard work went into the setup for CPX Interactive!

CPX Interactive had a great booth location with tons of traffic.

“A lot of our clients are here,” said, Mike Zacharski, VP of Publisher Development for CPX Interactive. “It’s a great time to meet face to face with our advertisers and publishers.”

Some of the main discussions at ad:tech New York included maximizing international markets, increasing digital spending, increased focus on internal communication and innovation with branding.

Windy City Plays Host to Industry Round Table on Ad Networks

When the IAB asked CPX Interactive to sponsor a round table dinner in Chicago, we were grateful for the opportunity to listen to what brands and agencies have to say about ad networks. Tonight, CPXers will sit down with agency and brand representatives, from companies like Cars.com, Mindshare, and Procter & Gamble, to discuss “Finding the ‘Just Right’ with Ad Networks.”

The dinner, which takes place at the Landmark Grill, will be facilitated by IAB representatives, as well as a team of corporate and sales executives from CPX.  We look forward to a fantastic discussion! Be sure to check back for a recap next week.
